Galileo-Thermometer
Functional principle: All liquids change their specific gravity as a result of changes in temprature. This principle has been used in the Galilei thermometers.
As the temperature rises, the liquid expands. Ist specific gravity decreases and the spheres sink. The current temperature is indicated by the lowest of the spheres which are still floating. To achieve an accuray of ½ °C, the glass spheres have to be precisely weighted to within two thousandths of a gram.
Body temperature measurement
An
internationally leading company in the area of medical body temperature
measurement, has concentrated on the development of new technologies aiming at
the tele-medical field since 1998. The focus here is on the new type of mobile
and Internet compatible temperature monitors.
It is developing solutions and technologies for one of the most important growth
markets of the future tele-medicine contributing to better monitoring
and diagnosis worldwide, thus helping both the doctor and the patient immensely.
Our monitors permit a permanent monitoring and diagnosis. The bio-data stored,
as for instance the body temperature values, can be recorded over a longer
period of time, be graphically processed and be transmitted from the patient to
the doctor by means of telecommunication.
With these new technologies, we and our partners worldwide are concentrating on
the markets of homecare, clinics and especially the target group of pre-natal
and ovulation diagnostics.
Innovative body temperature measurement technology for the future.
